Books
This section, totalling 41 volumes in all, represents the bulk of Bonar’s published works and spans much of his ministry with the first being published in 1839 and the last in 1884.
Hymns & Poems
There are 14 published works in this section including all three volumes of his important Hymns of Faith and Hope along with My Old Letters.
Biography
While no official biography has ever been written on Bonar, the CD includes many sketches of his life as both a minister and hymnwriter, totalling 27 items in all.
Miscellaneous
This is the largest section on the CD as it includes 21 unpublished manuscripts, his contributions to The Christian Treasury and The Quarterly Journal of Prophecy; two magazines he edited for 21 and 25 years repsectively, along with numerous other tracts, essays, and prefaces. It also includes an audio lecture on the life of Bonar by church historian Dr. Michael Haykin.
